Birth and Mother roasting services

The transition from maiden to mother is one that is sacred and deserves to be held in that space. As a birth worker (doula perhaps), I hold space and offer care as the mother needs....during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Not just physical support but emotional and mental as well. Below are my birth and postpartum services. If you are looking for something a little more customized, just let me know.

I am currently servicing the central Louisiana area which includes: Leesville, Fort Polk, and De Ridder.

Birth Doula

A doula, mothers the mother. She is there for the mother towards the end of pregnancy easing the anxiety and sharing her knowledge and experience to aid in labor and birth. When labor begins she is there from the time she calls her in until after the baby is born. Her concern is just for the mother and making sure she is heard, loved, and supported.

Every woman deserves a doula.

Doula care with me includes 2 prenatals, labor/birth, 2 hours immediate postpartum, and 2 home visits (2 hours each).

My fee also includes a half gallon of homemade soup, a quart of homemade bone broth, postpartum herbal sitz blend, Calm Mama tea blend, and a flower essence blend custom made for you.

I will check in with you daily after baby is born, via the phone on days I am not scheduled to visit, to see how you are doing and answer any questions that may arise.

Postpartum Doula

Care for the mother after birth is some of the most important care we can provide. The mother just went through this amazing process and life has changed. She needs to be cared for. This can be showing her support by cooking, cleaning, helping with breastfeeding, and just being there.

Postpartum doulas can provide that care.

As a postpartum doula, I also include half gallon of homemade soup, a quart of homemade bone broth, Calm Mama tea blend, postpartum herbal sitz blend, and a custom flower essence blend.

I will also check in daily over the phone on days I am not scheduled to come in just to make sure you are doing well and answer any question that may arise.

Sacred Belly Binding

Belly binding postpartum (starting 2 day postpartum for vaginal deliveries, 4 weeks for cesarean sections) helps support the mother’s back and abdomen  after delivery. There are so many benefits to it and it feels amazing. My belly binding package includes a warm sesame oil rub, belly firming paste, and a belly bind done in the privacy of your home.

This is for 3 different wrapping sessions.

The belly bind is yours to keep and I will show you (and your partner) how to do the wrap.

postpartum moxibustion

Postpartum Moxibustion

This beautiful treatment from Traditional Chinese Medicine brings warmth and healing to the postpartum mother.

First I use a smokeless moxa stick on the front and back and then follow with the umbilicus moxa (as pictured). There is no moxa applied to the skin.

Each session is about 20-30 minutes long and I do at least three sessions (more available upon request)

Placenta Encapsulation

The placenta, with its life sustaining abilities and the tree of life, can be beneficial for the mother. It can provide hormonal and lactation support that can help ward off postpartum anxiety and depression and help with energy levels. Later in life, if you have saved some capsules, they can be used during menopause.

The process begins after your birth, done in your home. There is no clean up work for you at all. You will get a neat and tidy jar of capsules with instructions.
